Cotsen Foundation School

As a Cotsen Foundation School, Whitaker has been awarded grants that are used to fund CGI math professional development opportunities and send teachers to the Readers' and Writers' Workshop at Columbia University in New York.

All Cotsen grants include funding for both the event itself and for all materials, supplies, and substitute teachers required to fully implement the professional development in the classroom. Cotsen alumni may also attend Cotsen trainings or apply for grants to attend conferences or implement new classroom strategies for the rest of their teaching careers.
